Voyage

Privacy

This notice explains how Voyage uses information to organise trips, manage invitations and share memories.

Information you provide

Voyage stores your account name and email, trip details, booking confirmations you submit, invitations and assignments, and uploaded photos and videos. Optional passwords are stored as salted hashes, not readable passwords.

Uploaded media may contain dates and GPS coordinates. Voyage retains available dates and coordinates with the trip, but strips embedded metadata from the copies it serves. Source media originals are discarded after processing.

How information is used and shared

Information is used to provide your account, build itineraries, deliver sign-in and invitation emails, and display shared media. Trip owners manage their trips and assignments. Joined travellers see assigned itinerary items and the trip’s shared photos and videos.

Someone who saves or shares a copy can retain it after their trip access is removed. Only upload or share content you have permission to use.

Service providers

Hosting and email delivery use Amazon Web Services. When AI features are enabled, the configured AI provider may process booking text, itinerary content or destination prompts to deliver those features. Weather, place searches and cover images can involve external providers and location queries. Loading external images contacts their hosts.

Cookies and technical records

Voyage uses cookies to keep you signed in and to connect an email code to the browser that requested it. Technical records and rate limits help operate the service, investigate errors and prevent abuse.

Retention and your controls

You can change or remove your password in Your account. Trip owners can remove travellers or delete trips. Uploaders can manage their own media while they have access; trip owners can manage media on their trips.

Deleting a trip is not the same as deleting an account or all related records. Booking source emails and operational records may remain for service operation, and recovery backups can retain earlier data. Raw inbound-email copies in the receiving service expire after 30 days; stored booking sources are retained separately.
